A lounge area from the 1930/40s served as inspiration for Conni Kotte when developing the concept and style for the first-floor suite. As such, earthy colours such as beige and brown are combined with expressive materials like bronze and burnished brass, to create a classical ambience. The result is a refined simplicity, with impressive effects: the hexagonal forms in the oak parquet floor are perfectly crafted, and sensual to the touch. The bathtub impresses with its all-round natural stone in Rainforest Brown and extends over the floor, into the suite’s living area. The handcrafted sliding door into the bathroom is a work of art, and sleeping is by no means ascribed secondary importance. On the contrary! The exclusive oak foldaway bed with a padded headboard integrated into the living area, designed by Conni Kotte, blends seamlessly with the aesthetics of its surroundings; marked by relaxation and pleasure.
From the pendant light with its mouth-blown glass body to the bespoke furniture, nothing here is off-the-shelf. Lights, fittings and accessories – they all celebrate the beauty in life. They score points for their character and the stories they tell, enchanting guests, whether as one-off pieces, or unique Conni Kotte interior designs.
Included free of charge: WiFi, Nespresso coffee machine, small fitness room in close proximity to the suite, and also on the ground floor of the new building.
Tip: Our guesthouse is just a stone’s throw from the main hotel building. The Villa, along with our restaurants, is also just a few yards away. An umbrella is provided in your room, to accompany you when the weather is less favourable!
PS: Creative mastermind! The Conni Kotte Suite bears the name and signature of the Hamburg-based interior designer. Conni Kotte’s work always begins with an idea – and from there, she sets off on a hunt: for unique works of art, special discoveries… That said, she also designs her own pieces: Design by Conni Kotte. Kotte, who previously pursued a successful career as a production designer within the film industry, impresses with the most important tool she has at her disposal: feeling and intuition. This is the only way to create a room with its own identity. Rooms that are unique, and convince with authenticity and quality. This was the same approach she adopted in lending such a concise and unique style to the public areas of LA MAISON hotel, such as the lobby, the bar, the library, the LOUIS restaurant, and the LOUIS lounge.
